A long time ago, there was a monster named Grendel. He terrized villages and cities all over the known world at the time. He ate people and tore others to bits. He was going t come to another city, in which there lived Beowulf. Beowulf was a strong man. He heard about this monster and wondered on how he could stand up to him.
