Activities

Make a Thank-You Card for a Veteran or Service Member

  • Print a thank you card or make your own!
  • Fold the sheet in half from top to bottom. Next, fold it in half again from side to side. The "Thank You" message should show on the front.
  • Write a message, but DO NOT include your last name, phone number, address or email address on your card.
  • Ask a guardian to mail your card to a service member you know, or bring it to the Dayton Blue Star Mothers.

Donate Care Package Items for Troops

  • The Dayton Blue Star Mothers have mailed over 12,000 care packages to troops deployed around the globe.
  • View the Blue Star Mothers Donation List.
  • Print extra copies of the list, but ask permission first before posting it in places people might see it.
  • Ask a guardian to drop off your donations at the Dayton Blue Star Mothers facility located at 6661 Clyo Road.
  • Call the Dayton Blue Star Mothers to confirm a delivery date and time. They are open most Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM.
